Technology Disposition

The life span of a computing technology is usually dictated by how it’s being utilized. ProSys can help you maximize the life of your existing IT equipment and offers options from redeployment to disposition of the equipment. If you find that your current computer equipment no longer meets your needs, ProSys can provide you several options.

Redeployment
If you determine that there are alternate uses for older equipment within your organization, ProSys can pickup, clean and test the equipment prior to it being redeployed. If you need the equipment imaged or upgraded, we can do that as well in our state of the art configuration center.

Remarketing
ProSys offers a number of options when it comes to remarketing older equipment. These methods may include selling direct to the public, on-line auctions, used computer resellers or broker your equipment at the wholesale level.

Environmental Disposal
In the event that an asset fails or is past its useful life, Prosys can provide you with a process to securely dispose of the asset. Prosys follows a rigorous process to ensure that all corporate data will be cleaned from hard drives. Data security is further enhanced by destruction of the hard drives or any data recording devices. Lastly, Prosys will provide a Letter of Liability Transfer to relieve you of any potential disposal liability of any IT asset.

Donations
If you prefer, ProSys can assist you in donations of equipment to Schools, or Non Profit Organizations. ProSys will run each item through our Asset Management process to secure erase drives, record serial numbers and show transfer of ownership. ProSys will clean, test, and package the equipment slated by for Donation if required by the customer. Prosys will also provide all the necessary documentation for tax and title transfer purposes.
